Happy Birthday Freebie Printable - Choose Grace

Every year I love to give a freebie on my birthday. I had designed these to put up in my Etsy shop about a month ago before I injured my back. I never got to put them up and decided to give them as a freebie today.

One thing I've learned through the past year since my health scare is to "choose grace". It's the only reason I've been able to stick to losing weight and becoming healthy. Giving myself grace when I make a sad choice, rather than giving up has become my new motto. Enjoy!

PS. I have created it in several sizes... the download includes two-3"x4" cards and one-4"x4" card on a letter sized printable. I will be putting other sizes up in the shop as time allows after I've recovered and can spend more time at my computer.

Digital Papers ---> Planner Dashboard - Photoshop Template Tutorial

WOW!!! Two days in a row. I'm kind of shocked I've posted twice this week, especially during Holy Week. Since it's one of my favorite holidays, I've got more freebies coming later this week to my newsletter subscribers too, so be sure you're signed up so you don't miss it.

a Photoshop step by step tutorial showing how to convert digital scrapbook papers into planner dashboards using a freebie template by Heather Greenwood

I am totally addicted to decorating my planners and love that I can use digital papers to create my own planner dashboards. It's like hybrid happiness for me. I love hybrid so much that I wanted to make sure everyone knows how to use these templates. I am using Photoshop, but you can do this in Photoshop Elements too.

Planner Dashboard Releases and Freebie

I've had these digital papers sitting on my desktop for awhile. Every once in awhile I get the urge to play in Photoshop for a bit. I finally decided to get the in the shop. I have more on the way including a mixed media set and a gold set.

I've also converted them into planner sizes, these are fun, but for the best value I personally would grab the 12"x12" papers and then use the freebie template at the bottom of this post to convert them into planner sizes. Then you can have the papers in all the sizes. I did however make it easy if you just want to get them sized already.

Origami Owl Pajama Party - Exclusive Giveaway and Calendar Printables

Today is Small Business Saturday and I wanted to share my Origami Owl jewelry bar event with you! I am not much of a jewelry person but have seriously fallen in LOVE with their product and excited to host a party.

My Origami Owl Designer, Silvia, has even mentioned there might be a game in our Facebook event page to help earn some free stuff. I can't wait to see what she has up her sleeves.

I've been really loving my new FiloFax and added some dangles and a locket to it and I LOVE the added touch!

use an Origami Owl Locket Extender to hand charms from your planner, also sharing photos and video of some of the exclusive printables and original mixed media art work.

I've also created an exclusive original 8"x10" art piece (frame not included) and for every order during the show I will put their name in a drawing at the end to receive it.

Art Journal Bible Tutorial: The Importance of Journaling

Well, I've been sick and in bed most of this week or out of the house for appts or homeschool coop. I'm not really even sick sick, just allergies have killed me this year. This means, I haven't had much time for getting painty messy or even putting together a tutorial, but I wanted to share they importance of still being in the word and journaling even when you're in bed with a frog in your throat.
My kids think it's funny that I have no voice and the little one is totally confused thinking I really actually have a frog in my throat, LOL. I could feel it coming on Sunday night, and Monday morning it hit me hard... but I really wanted to have something to go along with what I had shared in my feature on Shanna's blog.

Journal Card Freebie: Birthday Gift For You From Me

Tomorrow is my 41st birthday which means today is my last day of being 40, EEK! I will have to admit that 40 was great! I was worried last year that I would hate middle age, but this year proved me wrong.

This year I finally figured out who God created me to be and am moving forward in being "ME" and doing what God gifted me to do. I am so incredibly full of joy, even on the tough days. I can't even tell you how fulfilling this year has been.

This blog has been such a joy teaching and inspiring! I look forward to many more years with you!

Hubby will confirm that my love language is "gifts". I always like sharing and giving gifts and designed these cards for you. It was fun putting these together and I hope you like them as much as I do. I can't wait to print them out and use them in my special birthday insert I do for each of us every year in my Project Life album.

Workflow Wednesday: Silhouette Software Introduction and Freebies

I'm excited to start a new part of this workflow series and this month I will be sharing tutorials for using the Silhouette die cutting machine and software. I love this machine, it can do so much and has saved me a lot of time and sore fingers the past 1-1/2 years.

It's definitely a luxury but it's been an investment I really don't regret even a tiny bit. I'm really looking forward to sharing a few simple tutorials on how I use my Silhouette Portrait in my weekly pocket scrapbook album.

Thank You For Your Support - Facebook 500 Printable Journal Cards and Labels Freebie

I was so excited to see on vacation that we hit 500 likes on my Facebook page, and so quickly after 250 likes. As promised I've made a new freebie!

This freebie is completely inspired by our vacation. The 4"x6" card is actually a photo I took on our date night sunset cruise. I had fun playing with brushes and actions to give it a watercolor sketchy look. The anchor was inspired by my niece who I spent time practicing drawing an anchor to add to her ceramic bowl she painted at the art barn. I had such a great time with both my nieces at an art barn doing some painting and then browsing the art galleries in town.

I know it's a tad different for me, but I'm in love with how it turned out. I hope you like it too!
