I'm so excited to be back here with more to share in my Art Journaling Bible while studying the Gospel of John with She Reads Truth. I also wanted to share some pointers with you and answer a few questions I've received from last week about some of the supplies I use.

Last week I shared with you the first half of what I did for John 3 and really focused on Nicodemus. This week I'm turning the page and sharing my favorite quote from the week and our memory verse for the week. I'm really trying to take this verse to heart this week.

Hey art worshipers, I am so happy to be back to do art in my Bible again. I started doing the She Reads Truth studies again and have been going through the current series in John. I'm totally in love with the series.

I read through it first thing in the morning. I find that if I don't wake up with Jesus, I don't feel like myself during the day. It's made me realize how much I need my Savior daily and the first thing in my day.

I will underline and highlight key verses and jot down any notes I want to remember for later in the day when I have time to do a little art worship. I am having a great time art worshiping in my Bible.

Happy Halloween and Happy {international}Digital Scrapbook Day Weekend!!!

I'm excited to share something new at The Lilypad this weekend! They now have a monthly pocket scrapbooking subscription! The mixed media monthly was such a hit that it only seemed perfect to add in the other part of what makes The Lilypad so awesome and diverse, it's pocket scrapbookers!

October 2014 - Week 41 in my weekly pocket scrapbook album

I'm really excited to share this cool page with you! I know that I usually always use Design A for my pages and sometimes I'll use Design H for an insert. I just find it so much easier for planning purposes to stick with the same design.

At the Daydream Event last month, I got this really cool panoramic page protector and I've fallen madly in LOVE with it and think I need to run to Michaels and pick up a box. I'm sure the fact that it's pretty similar to Design A, that made it easy to put together. I just needed eight 4"x6" cards. I did use some 3"x4" cards to layer on top.

That's my tip for you this week, use up your 3"x4" cards by layering them over the 4"x6" journal cards.

October 2014 - Week 39 in my pocket scrapbook album

I know I said that I was switching the mixed media tutorials to Monday, and I still am... That will start up next week. I wanted to share my page for week 39 today since I had skipped it last week.

I spent Saturday morning working on photographing some new mixed media tutorials and am excited to share them with you. We're going to have some messy, painty, FUN!!!

For this page, I used the Project Life® kit that I received at the Daydreamers Event last month. I thought it was fitting to use the page kit with the week of the event.

Mixed Media Tutorial: Add Gold For The Holidays To Your Projects

I don't know about you, but now that the holiday season is coming up, I want everything to be gold or a warm metallic. I seriously can't stop myself from adding gold to everything or preparing journal cards for this year's December Daily.

Mixed Media Tutorial: Stamping With Mists

I had received some new stamps earlier this week and wanted to play a little. Since I've been stamping for a couple decades now, I've finally gotten the courage to not be so perfect or to not be upset about imperfect impressions. This is a huge step for me and it also means that I'm having more fun experimenting and playing with stamps again.

June 2014 - PL Week 24 in my weekly pocket scrapbook album

I might have run out of ink this week and need to run out and get some more... so, my hybrid page this is is truly hybrid and a mix of not only digital goodies, but also some of my ever growing stash of paper goodies. I always love Just Jaimee's and Mommyish's Real Life In Pockets collaborations. I wanted to document us watching How To Train Your Dragon on our TV and totally loved the digital TV in the Sweet Stamp Shop retired digi files no. 1. I can't believe it's Friday again and we're here with a new edition to the mixed media tutorials. Seriously, where did the week go? I guess it's true that time flies when you're having fun.

We've been having fun enjoying the lovely warmer weather and not being stuck indoors so much anymore. Even though we still have several weeks of homeschooling to do, we've been rushing through the school work and doing some of our school work outdoors sitting on the porch while the boys run around collecting maple seeds and throwing them up in the air to watch them spin around.
