One of my favorite scrapbook albums I do every year is Ali Edwards' Week In The Life. I love everything about it. I love looking back each year and seeing how things have changed. This is my fourth year doing it and already I'm having a blast. I thought that this year I'd share the photos and everything on the blog. Then when I finish the album I'll share the whole album.
Pretty much this was our Monday in a nutshell... homeschool in the morning, then in the van running around all afternoon and evening.
OUR MONDAY IN PHOTOS
This is Asher's "school" time, playing with clay and cars.Isaac is working on the letter "L" this week and so we got to spend some time outside learning about leaves.
This is his "favorite shirt" and he was excited to wear it knowing we were going to church this afternoon.
I love reading books to the kids that have to do with what they are studying.
Moriah was not very happy that I was snapping photos of her working on math, but I sneaked one in anyways.
I love when she giggles when she's reading her books. She is just like her mama curled up in mama's favorite reading chair.
I had a meeting at the church this afternoon to talk about a project. I love that the church has an indoor play area. They had a blast playing while we were meeting.
Since we spent so much time in the van today, I had to sneak in some photos of everyone in their car seats while we were stopped at an intersection. I love the lighting in the van.
Of course, what's Week In The Life without a selfie, right?
Gosh, she's so grown up back there in her booster seat, sniff!!!
Isaac won the prize for being in the van the most today. He had a dentist appointment earlier. He's my super active kid and it's hard to get a photo of his sitting still... he keeps me on my toes all day. <3
This bug was crawling across our driveway and had so much fright power it kept the kids inside the garage while I went to check the mail.
I still can't believe it's the end of October, it was in the upper 70s today and I had blooms on my rose bushes.
Of course, I had to get a photo of our daily chores. Isaac and I do the dishes every night. I rinse, he puts in the dishwasher.
I also always make sure I get a photo of the gas prices during the week. It's fun to see the change in prices each year, or not so fun seeing it rise so much every year. I have to check, but I think last year was higher than this year.
This was on our way to ballet/library. We had to go a little early so Moriah could get fitted for her recital costume. Mark and the boys go to the library while Moriah's in class. I go to the library quick too, to grab books for school.
