The Reset Girl #listersgottalist Challenge | Days 1-2

I've been in need of a challenge recently. Life has gotten a little crazy and I needed to do something fun for me. Recently, I've finished making my Art Society Fauxdori (I still need to take photos to share) and I have set it up as a little traveling art journal. (I still need to take photos of how I've made it into a travel art journal).

Mixed Media Valentine Home Decor: Isn't She Love-ly?

One of the things that brings me great joy is taking classes and workshops. I love teaching but I also love learning. This year not only will I be teaching, but I will be learning too. I have signed up for some classes and I am already totally in LOVE with them. One of them is Christy Tomlinson's monthly Art Society. I started in December because I fell in LOVE with her project.

Home Decorating Heather Greenwood Style: Wall Art

The last three weekends have been all about exploring my artistic gifts. I think I've finally figuring out my "style" and feeling really refreshed and rejuvenated and ready to explore this mixed media art more.

I don't know exactly where it's going to lead me, but I will say that I'm having a blast. This weekend my parents were here for my birthday and now that the kitchen remodel is basically done, I'm creating some art for the walls.

Several of these pieces started out as pieces I painted and stenciled and created while in Kansas two weekends ago. I really LOVE how they turned out! I love just staring at my reading nook/homeschool room/library/living room. It's become my favorite wall in the house. I can't wait to work on more wall art!!!

What do you think? Do you want to see some tutorials and process photos on how I put them together? Which one is your favorite?
