With so much going on at the end of the week last week, I decided to post the rest of the week's photos in one day. Since Friday was the beginning of (i)DSD, I didn't want you to miss all the fun going on at The Lilypad.
I really slowed down with the photos this weekend. I don't even have any photos from Sunday. So, let's see what I've got for the rest of the week and weekend.
THURSDAY 10/30
This is what I wake up to every morning. The kids have helped themselves to breakfast and left the bags on the floor, right next to the pantry.Isaac's working on his calendar and 100 chart.
He is also painting the outline of his favorite "heart leaf".
Asher is bored when I'm working with Isaac and/or Moriah.
He's not bored for long, Isaac and Asher always end up drawing together. I'm just happy someone is using up this huge stash of red cardstock.
Though, they found my tape supply and decided to use it all up by taping all their art work up in their rooms. I can't be too upset, it's pretty cool to see it on display in their room.
The boys are sitting at the kitchen island talking to me...
...and eating lunch.
Mark likes to make baked apples while we're eating dinner.
FRIDAY 10/31
Yes, that's snow you see on Halloween morning! BRRR!!!Moriah finished up her Singapore Math 2A book today. She's so excited that the next book is pink!
Mark and I decided we are total wimps and didn't want to go outside in the brutal wind.
So we let the kids have candy from our own bowl and had them knock on the office door. They loved it!
They got to pick out five pieces of candy from the bowl.
Asher chose all Tootsie Rolls and nothing else.
Moriah went last. She's so cute in her pink tinkerbell costume she put together herself.
She really likes pink!
This was just too cute. I'm glad Mark snapped a photo of him looking at his five pieces of candy!
SATURDAY 11/1
Moriah and I went shopping at a vendor fair while Mark and the boys took Isaac to the doctor for a ear ache. They said there was fluid in his ear but no infection. He pretty much spent all day on the couch. My poor dude!We did get to watch UP for family movie night! My kids get so anxious in movies, but after seeing it the first time on Saturday night, they watched it all day Sunday and LOVED it!
Saturday night Isaac woke up screaming his head off in pain. We gave him more medicine but in the morning we saw lots of discharge. So even though we had an extra hour of sleep, we really didn't get much sleep Saturday night because his ear was hurting so badly.
SUNDAY 11/2
I didn't get any photos on Sunday. I saw all the discharge from Isaac's ear and quickly went to Dr. Google. We decided to wait until Monday to call and get him checked out.Moriah and I went to church just the two of us. I love being a small group leader in the 3rd grade with her. I love my kids in my small group. After Sunday School, Moriah went to Glory Kids (choir) and I went to the service. It was such a great service and I can't wait to share my art journaling from the message.
The rest of the day we took naps and watched UP again. We all really needed an afternoon to unwind before the new week. I had a blast documenting our week and I can't wait to put it all together in an album!
