This past weekend we rented Frozen. We'd heard so many good things about the movie and Mark decided to be spontaneous and looked everywhere for the movie. We finally found a Redbox that had it and quickly reserved it and went to grab it.
- One thing I've been really trying to do is to show the grace of God in our every day. So, after we watched the movie, I talked to them about how God's grace and love for us is far greater than the grace and love that Anna had for her sister, Elsa. I told them that Anna kept trying to build a snowman with Elsa, just like Jesus always wants a relationship with us and keeps coming every day.
- I also shared that even though Elsa hurt Anna and kept pushing Anna away, but Anna kept coming back, just like we do things that hurt God and push him away, but his grace is so abundant that he keeps coming back and never gives up on us.
- Lastly, I shared that just like Anna sacrificed her life for Elsa, Jesus did the same thing for us. As we get closer to Easter, I think a lot about his amazing sacrifice for me. That he loved me so much that he would die for me. I want my kids to know that amazing love and the amazing grace and mercy of Jesus. That because of his amazing grace and act of true love, we are free to live and to love.

So, I really wanted to remember this moment and do a page to insert into my album for last week. I will print it up and insert it into Week 13 so that they will be reminded of this act of true love that Jesus did for us, whenever they look through the album. I thought Rachel's (Captivated Visions) kit was just too perfect for a Frozen theme to tie in the movie with our conversation.
