HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope and pray that 2015 is a good year of growth and joy for you!
Speaking of the new year and "JOY". I am not one for new years resolutions. I'm terrible at keeping up with them. The past few years I've chosen a word for the year and last year was "FOCUS". I think I did pretty well with my word last year. I didn't even imagine at the beginning of the year I would be "focusing" on a blog. I've tried blogging several times and always failed to keep at it. It's been almost a year since I revived this blog and I'm so happy with where it's taken me and where it's going for the new year.
This year's One Little Word® is "JOY". While I did so much "focus" on my blog last year, I also didn't focus on friendships and lost several local friends. While I gained an amazing community and friends, I lost a lot too. It hurt and focusing on that hurt really sucked the joy out of me. While thinking over Christmas break about my goals for 2015, I knew instantly I wanted that JOY back. I have made a "JOY" journal and will be writing down something that brings me JOY daily. I am determined to find "JOY" in even the hard days and even through tears.
I'm so excited to be back from my blog vacation, though not as early as I wanted to be. I am excited about this new year and excited about the changes coming to Heather Greenwood Designs. I can't wait to share them all with you.
