It's Sunday night and I just got home from a crazy busy weekend. I'm sad that I missed out on all the iNSD festivities, but the conference was totally the oasis I needed.
WEEK 17
So, every Monday I've been sharing my scrapbook pocket pages from the week before.
This past week we were gearing up for iNSD and I grabbed some watercolor journal cards from Michelle Godin and Kaye Winiecki at The Lilypad.
I printed them up and then grabbed my color organized boxes to pull out embellishments that matched the colors in the cards and tried to use up more of my huge stash. I can't tell you how much I enjoy this system of organization and how cool it is to be using things I totally forgot I had, just because they match the colors in the cards.
That Monday I hosted our homeschool coop and so I decided that was a special even that deserved it's own insert. I had so much fun with the BYOC at The Lilypad. I did some digital blending of cards and added some digital doodles before printing them up (tutorials coming soon).
I then grabbed my yellow and blue boxes to grab the yellow die cuts, stickers and embellishments and the blue puffy stars. Lastly, after journaling, I made them pop by doodling and outlining some of the embellishments.
I think this might be my favorite page ever. I really love the cards and doodles by Emily Merritt and Michelle Godin for the May 2014 BYOC.
While I'm utterly exhausted from this weekend and still processing all the information, it was so refreshing and exactly what I needed right now. I can't wait to share with you. I've got some fresh ideas for the blog and I'm excited to see where this blog is headed. I enjoyed the conference so much that hubby and I are already planning on saving up and going again next year. I can't wait!!!
