I actually created this art journal page on Good Friday. Even though we were sick and weren't able to go to our church's Good Good Friday event or the Good Friday service in the evening, I still made sure the kids knew that they are loved so much that God sent his one and only son to die for our sins so that we may have eternal life. I sat down with each of them and talked to them for quite a bit about it and it was so nice to hear that they understand the importance of remembering this day. It was the first time that Isaac recited John 3:16 too and I was so very proud of him.
I love that I every time I ask them "Who loves you?", after saying "mama and daddy", they always say, "Jesus". I pray that they will always remember how much Jesus loves them. It's something I always have to remind myself too. The constant reminder of Good Friday and Easter makes this page so very special. I am so very blessed to be loved by God, my Abba Father.

I seriously LOVE that the "I AM LOVED" element was bright pink, so it pops out from all the pretty blues and yellows. A constant bold reminder for me.
