Shine Bright | Digital Mixed Media Art Journal Page
It's my favorite Froggy Friday of the month, it's Mixed Media Monthly release day and that means I created a page with the new kit and also made a fast play video to go with it! Be sure to check out the blog at The Lilypad to see it!
Also, I've made a few more additions to the shop at Etsy! In addition to the 8x10" printables, I've added 5x7" and 4x6" + 3x4" options of all the designs. Also, this week I was able to add a few more new designs, so be sure to check them out!
Today is the last day of my Grand Opening Sale! Use code: GRAND25 for 25% off your purchase.

Find Joy In The Journey - Mixed Media Monthly Digital Art Journal Page
I'm so excited because today is M3 (Mixed Media Monthly) release day at The Lilypad and this month's release is A-MAZING!!! I have a major thing for maps and travel type kits and this one is just GORGEOUS!!! Also, I have a fast play video showing how I created this page up on The Lilypad blog if you want to see how this page was created.
December Daily® Memories Album | Days 16-17
It's Froggy Friday at The Lilypad and it's also the third Friday of the month which means it's Mixed Media Monthly (M3) release day too. I had fun playing with the M3 releases to try to incorporate them into my December album. It's soooo gorgeous and I can't wait to show you a couple more days in my album!
- DAY SIXTEEN: I used Heidi Swapp Color Shine and a paint brush to color the Color Magic paper behind the cut file I had previously made. I love the contrast. I'm still using the Paislee Press templates, but decided to add some fun papers and doodles from the M3 add-ons. I totally love how it turned out. It matches perfectly with the wrapping paper from my photo.
More December Memories Album Preparation - The Lilypad Document Your December Releases
It's my favorite time of year at The Lilypad! There are so many great releases throughout the year, but my fave is definitely the Document Your December releases. The best part is that it's the same week as Mixed Media Monthly so there's all sorts of great mixed media releases mixed in. I'm really loving the color palette this year too.
Here are my pages using some of the goodies. I grabbed all of Paislee Press' releases, they're just so YUMMY and had a ton of fun using the cut files. I can't wait to cut out some more with the Silhouette this weekend.

October 2014 - Week 40 in my pocket scrapbook album and some changes to the blog...
Phew!!! That's a really long title, LOL! I've been doing a lot of thinking about the blog and my creative team responsibilities and our homeschool routine and decided to make some changes to the routine on the blog.
Since the beginning, I've been posting my weekly pocket pages on Mondays, workflow tutorials on Wednesdays and mixed media tutorials on Fridays and then recently added in the art journal Bible tutorials on Thursdays.
The problem with sharing my pages on Mondays is that the sale is that I'm usually using new releases for my creative team requirements at The Lilypad, but the sale is over. So, I will now be moving them to Fridays. I'm hoping that if you're inspired by my pages and want that product, you'll be able to get them while they are on sale instead of afterwards.
What does that mean for the mixed media tutorials? Well, I'm just going to switch them to Mondays. These tutorials were a much bigger hit than I anticipated and I find that with our homeschool schedule it's difficult for me to get photos and projects done during the week.
Have I told you yet that homeschooling this year is kicking my butt? I still love it, it's just taking a lot more time and energy and I need to focus on them during the week and writing/photography during the weekends. Thankfully, I have a super supportive husband who knows how much this blog means to me, and I couldn't do this without him.
So, we've skipped week 39, which is actually done... but I wanted to share Week 40 with you while the digital supplies are on sale at The Lilypad. I'm sooooo in LOVE with the Mixed Media Monthly kits and add-ons and couldn't wait to use them.
Speaking of The Lilypad, this was the week that I went with some friends to Kansas to hang out and scrapbook... we just all happen to know each other from The Lilypad, so I couldn't resist using the awesome kits for this page. Hubby and the kiddos went to Michigan and had a blast!

August 2014 - Week 33 in my weekly pocket scrapbook album
I am so excited to share my weekly pocket scrapbook page with you! This was the week we were in Nashville, so I have lots of photos!
It's crazy, I brought my big girl camera and never used it. All my photos for the week ended up being on my iphone or Mark's android. How crazy is that? Well, not so crazy when I think of how convenient it is not to lug the big camera all around Nashville with three kids who didn't want to spend all week in our hotel room. I'm still exhausted and we've been home for a week now!
