What do you do when you are stuck at home due to a blizzard and can't worship with your church family? You enjoy a nice morning of worship with your family and be sure to include some art worship in there.
Saturday was sunny and green/brown grassy outside while I spent the day in fellowship with 200+ Truth Scrap friends. What a blast and CAN'T WAIT for the next one!!! I still can't believe where God has taken me this past year in this journey to share my art and faith. Saturday night it started to snow and snow and snow...
Sunday, we woke up to lots of snow and a blizzard warning. All our plans for church, small group Bible study and Super Bowl party turned into a day of family worship. I missed my third grade small group kids and worshiping with my church family, but the snuggles and art worship was priceless.
Remember that art journal background I made last week? Well, I decided to try out painting a face... She's got really big hair and dark skin, but I'm pretty happy with my first attempt.
I have a Donna Downey quote stencil that's lost in the mail somewhere and when it finally arrives I can't wait to add that to the other side. I made many mistakes but I learned so much from the mistakes and I can't wait to try again!
