Week In The Life | Wednesday, October 29, 2014

I knew I'd have a day that was so busy I'd forget to pull out the camera for most of it. I lost lots of photos today, but it's ok, I can still complete Ali Edwards' Week In The Life without them. I am considering setting an alarm for the top of the hour and taking a snapshot of each hour in our house. I think that would be tons of fun to see.

OUR WEDNESDAY IN PHOTOS

Wednesday was another day of running around. I woke up and realized I was out of some meds and so my morning started earlier than usual and a trip to Wal-Mart. I did a little Halloween shopping too while I was there. I needed to pick up some candy and some treat bags.

The rest of the morning was your typical homeschool morning. Lots of work and me forgetting to take out the camera until the very end when Moriah was doing her 30 minutes of reading time. She tried to read to the boys but they had other ideas.

She hasn't figured out that even though they are playing they totally are still listening to the story. Isaac is really excited about his "rocket". He worked on it all day!

Asher just likes running around from the dining table to grab some carrots to the reading nook to listen to Moriah read. He's such a goof.

Moriah reads just like her mama. I can't just sit normal in a chair. I have to lay sideways with my legs off the arms and my head resting on the other arm. It's kind of fun seeing a little mini me reading her book like mama does.

On Wednesdays, we make the kids have a "quiet time" in the afternoon. We hope that both boys will take a nap since it's a late night at church. We split the boys up knowing that they would never nap if they were together. Isaac stays downstairs in the family room and I go lay down in Isaac's bed until Asher falls asleep.

After he fell asleep, I went downstairs and worked on my weekly pocket scrapbook pages. I actually got a lot done today and I can't wait to show you on Friday!

After dinner and chores, we all head out to the church for Awanas. The sunset was such a pretty color. I wanted to capture it even though I was in a parking lot and cars and vans were pulling in.

While the kids and Mark were in their classes, I went to the library and did some doodling. This is my Documented Life Project Planner and this week's prompt is to use a leaf. I was excited to use this gelli print. I just wanted to add something to it so I doodled and added some gold bling.

I only got a photo of Asher after Cubbies was over. I brought my camera and totally spaced out about getting photos of the kids.

The whole way home we were all looking at the moon and talking about the moon. It was a big discussion about who's side of the van the moon was on. Poor Isaac didn't get to see the moon much tonight because he was on the wrong side of the van. He did get to see it a couple times on the way home, but not as much as the rest of us.

  2. My two daughter Lisa and Anna are fond of collecting toys for babies. They love to play with toys after their school and spend most of their time with them. I really love watching them when they play with their toys. In their collection, they have toys of almost every category.
