I had sooooo much fun creating this 4"x6" pocket title card. I have to warn you though, it's messy, so take it outside.

SUPPLIES:

• paper or journal cards
• gesso
• mists or spray inks
• stencil brushes
• palette paper or craft mat
• heat tool

I'm using some old book paper, Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Sweet Cherry, Mustard, and Navy. Make sure the stencil brush is small enough to fit into the top of the mist or spray ink bottle. If you're using a bigger brush, you can pour some out onto your palette paper or craft mat.

LET THE FIREWORKS BEGIN

STEP ONE:
add gesso to your journal card or paper, I just used my fingers



STEP TWO:
Dip your stencil brush into the mist bottle


STEP THREE:
Pounce the stencil brush hard and fast on the paper... this is what makes the splatters spread out to make it look like fireworks



STEP FOUR:
Dry your fireworks using the heat tool and clean your brush between colors



STEP FIVE:
Trim your paper to the size you want if needed.
