PRINTABLE CANVAS

I seriously had so much fun putting this together, and am totally in LOVE with how it turned out. First I did a print and cut of the "I Love You To The Stars And Back" cutout, on the printable canvas! I think it might be my favorite part of the layout. I backed it up with this gorgeous paper from Studio Calico. YUM! I then grabbed my sewing machine and stitched around it.

It printed so nicely and I seriously LOVE the texture of this canvas and the adhesive backing makes it so easy to adhere to the scrapbook page. I totally saved the cut out letters and plan on making a card with it! YUM!

DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE

Next I used this starry background cut file and enlarged it to 7.5" square. I cut it on the double-sided adhesive paper and backed it up with some printed digital paper from the Magic Hour Kit by Paislee Press. Once I stuck it down on the background paper, I pulled off the top paper to reveal the adhesive and poured on the bronze glitter, brushing off the extra glitter. I adhered it behind the canvas cut file above.

I have a confession to make. I was a little nervous about using this, I could just picture a big wad of adhesive all bundled up in my hands and lots of tears with trying to adhere it to the background paper. I was worried about nothing. It was so easy to use and turned out perfectly. I'm so totally in love with the color of this bronze glitter too. I can totally see myself using it for December Daily.

CORRUGATED PAPER

Then, I grabbed the adhesive corrugated paper and found this cute 4"x6" frame with the "potty people" couple and thought it would be perfect for over my photo. After adhering the frame, I trimmed the corners of the photo.

OH MY!!! This was so awesome. I was a little worried about whether or not this would cut nicely in the more intricate areas around the head and between the legs, but it seriously cut perfectly! I can't wait to use this again! I love the added texture it brings to the page!

SKETCH PENS

I've never used sketch pens so I was having fun trying to figure out what I would use them for. It took me awhile to find the perfect cut file. I ended up using this foliage file. I loved how it looked behind the photo. I ended up clipping the part that was behind the photo and adhering to the side of the photo to add a little visual triangle to the layout. To finish it off, I used a Wink of Stella gold glitter brush to color in the leaves.

I have fallen MADLY IN LOVE with these! I can just tell you right now that I'll be using these a ton! I can just picture how awesome it will be for my art journal pages to draw flowers and other designs and then to color them in with colored pencils or markers. Oh my goodness, I seriously have a million ideas of things to do with these! SQUEEEEE!!!! I'm wondering what took me so long to play with these... I have an unopened package of metallic pens that have been sitting in my drawer since December, eek!

WHITE STICKER PAPER

I still hadn't used the printable white sticker Paper, so I grabbed several elements from the Paislee Press kit and did a print and cut. I printed off several labels and pennants, still not sure what I wanted to use.

As a girl who loves to print and cut for my pocket pages and other projects, this is definitely a MUST HAVE!!! I love how nice and crisp it printed out, I'll be buying more of this when I run out... considering how much I love doing print and cut every week, I have a feeling I'll be buying this in bulk! LOVE!!!

It still didn't seem finished to me. I really loved the gold stripe paper in the kit, so I did a watercolor action on it and then printed it on the printable cotton canvas. I grabbed my sewing machine and stitched around the edge of the paper on the Dear Lizzy crepe background paper. To add a little more gold, I grabbed a paint brush, gold paint and water and started splattering it everywhere. That was too fun LOL!

I then started adhering everything to the page and wanted to add more of the starry paper and cut some bits and pieces and adhered them to the top and bottom. I'm really so happy with how it turned out. I'm totally loving the gold, navy, and peach combo. It just fit so perfectly with the photo.

SO MUCH FUN

Thank you Silhouette America for giving me this fun challenge! I had such a blast putting this page together and will definitely be using more Silhouette goodies in the future. I totally fell in LOVE with the canvas, corrugated paper and sketch pens which were totally new to me and can't wait to use them again. The double-sided adhesive was too much fun and I will definitely be using it a ton come December! The white sticker paper will be a MUST HAVE in my scrapbook tools.
