February and March 2014 - Week 9

Oh goodness... I can't tell you how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new BYOC at The Lilypad. The color scheme as the winner of the iDSD BYOC color scheme game we had back in early November and I LOVE all the different shades of greens in it and the pop of orange and yellow. I think this might be my most fave BYOC ever. It's such a great spring color scheme and I'm sooooo ready for Spring!!! I ended up doing three pages with it instead of squeezing it all onto 2 pages because I love it so much! Plus, the week splits between February and March so I found the three pages helped me to keep the two months separate in my album.

I apparently had a ton to say this week and did lots of journaling and doodling on my pages.

Here are the two pages for the end of February...

This first page is mostly the regular everyday moments in our house, a little bit of homeschooling, chores, playing and just plain cuteness. I know I'm a bit biased, but these three are the most beautiful kiddos I know.

The next page is Thursday and Friday... All but one pocket is about our trip to the Museum of Science and Industry with our very dear friends. I can't tell you how thankful I am for our friendship. My kids love Bianca so much and I love my dear friend Dalis so much. I'm always thanking the good Lord for bringing us together. The bottom right pocket is all about Friday. It was when I was really starting to feel like I had too much on my plate and was soooo looking foward to just hanging out with my scrap girls. I was a bit sad that it was the same night as the parenting conference at church, but so thankful I got to see them for a little bit and just chat. Laura was the only one who actually did any scrapping, lol. I also wrote a bit about how fun it was to do the blog hop with The Pocket Source and can't wait to do it again.

Here is my March page...
I was away from the family, at a parenting conference on Saturday, so I didn't have many photos for the March page. I thought it was perfect for journaling about what I learned at the conference and the changes I want to make. I had lots going on in my mind and wasn't as focused on capturing photos. I think a lot of the journaling cards really spoke to me and how I was feeling over the weekend, so it just seemed too perfect to have all the room on my page and only a couple photos.

We hadn't finished all our homeschooling for the week, so Mark and the kids made the cake to celebrate Immanuel's birthday. It was a YUMMY gluten-free cake with dairy-free frosting. You should see Asher's face when he blows out the candles, too cute for words and hard to capture in photos...
