I was trying to figure how how I was going to do monthly but still kind of keep to the weekly schedule, and decided to split week 5 into two pages. The left side is the rest of January and the right side is the first two days of February. I'm really like how this came out. Sweet Shoppe Designs had a really fun collaboration that week that was free with purchase and I had fun working with it, blending in doodles and still using my fave painterly styles to change it from clean and graphic to a more mixed media feel.
The kids were so goofy this week, always wearing swimsuits when it's freezing outside and being creative with their clothes and putting underwear on their heads. Speaking of freezing out, it was so cold out that we got to experience a SUN DOG!!! It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen and I'm so glad we got a picture of it... as much as I really hate this winter, that experience was worth it for just a tiny bit... now it can get warmer again, please!!!
