January 2014 - Week 4

Have I ever told you how much I love Photoshop for blending cards together to make new cards, or using fx styles to give a painterly look, or adding digital paint to cards? If not, I must tell you I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I had a blast with this page, doing all of the above... Kristin Cronin-Barrow even asked me if that was really her watercolor cards, she couldn't believe how different they looked. That had to have been the best compliment ever!!! It is tons of fun for me to do though and I will definitely do a little tutorial here soon on my process and how I do all the altering to my cards before I print them up... I can't wait to share my passion with you... Speaking of my readers, you are the reason I changed my web address... I'm gearing up to do more for you and to add some more freebies and tips and tutorials and so I felt a little bit of a blog update was needed, including purchasing a domain name today, WOOT!!! I seriously have a million ideas in my head how I want to share my joy and passion with you in the form of freebies, tutorials and tips!!!

So, anyways... here is the page for Week 4... There weren't very many photos this week as we all had nasty colds... but I did get a photo of me and the little dude wiping his nose and cuddling... The other dude had some cavities filled so Mark was awesome to get that photo for me. He also made cake and our cake pan wasn't big enough and it spilled over and he was awesome and made sure to get a photo of it! If it wasn't for him, I would have only had the one photo, so I'm very thankful that he knows how important it is for me to record our memories, including the everyday moments that I would totally forget if it weren't for this project! <3
