Scrappin' Saturday - 8/31

I'm really starting to see a shift in my craftiness lately... I'm finding myself almost exclusively doing my weekly project life pages and playing in my art journal... I'm finding myself playing in the Silhouette software more than Photoshop right now... my evenings I'm finding myself listening to podcasts and watching you tube videos for inspiration and hoping my love for photoshop will come back.... I did however do a few layouts this week...

Aren't these doodles so much fun? I had fun doing this layout, I used the painty handprint to "cut" the fun blocky paper... I did some paper blending too and just added and moved around all the fun doodley elements in the kit until I had a page I liked and then added the two kiddos for this year's homeschool year and then journaled a little bit about the new year... I can't wait to get started and to work with the both of them to love learning and love Jesus more.

I LOVED this new kit from Tangie... the word strips totally inspired me to scrap my daily prayer for myself... these are all things I pray God will give me and show me...

I had a conflict this week on Facebook that made me realize that I'm not the "cool kid" anymore and made me realize how much I care for my "scrapping family" (maybe a little TOO much)... It hurt to have to defend the girls I consider like family to me and I just needed to let it out and did this for a little therapy and felt so much better afterwards... I'll just continue to be the sweet and loving friend/scrapper I've always been... just need to not let hurtful comments get to me so much and keep my mouth shut...
