layout catch-up

Just catching up on some layouts... I've been cleaning out my digital scrapbooking supplies and one of the things I spent all weekend and yesterday doing (when I had the chance) was convert all my layouts from the full .psd file, to a flattened .jpg. I'm realizing that I never go back to change anything nor correct spelling errors so why keep them... so from now on I'm just going to flatten them, mistakes and all and not worry about keeping the full layered version. Next on my to-do list is to go through my pictures and edit the ones I want to keep and delete the RAW files of the ones I don't want to keep. It's a big project but it's something I really need to do... I don't even want to know how much space I'm taking on my harddrive with blurry pictures or 30 of the same picture lol. I think I get so overwhelmed with how much there is to do that I totally avoid it and then it becomes a mountain instead of a hill. I really should do it on a more regular basis... like maybe when I'm downloaded them from my camera to my computer... that would be ideal... but I don't :P

Anyways... here's some layouts that I just recently uploaded to the galleries and this would be my last step before deleting the web-sized copy LOL. I'm not doing so hot on this list... but this is the list of books I really want to read. I'm about to go pick up a couple from the library as soon as Asher is up from his nap. I have a feeling the library is going to be crowded since it's sooo freakin' hot outside.

Laura and I met up last week... I can't believe it's been over a year... we live just far enough away from each other that we don't meet up often... but when we do... it's like we hang out all the time. We decided to scrap the same two pics and use the same kit and I love how totally different our pages are. Here's hers... and this is mine!

This next one is a charity collab and I'm seriously in LOVE with this kit! I'm totally going to do a super hero princess page with it again... but I did this page after having a really really rough day. I needed to do a little bit of scrap therapy.

and lastly Kristin and her husband celebrated their anniversary last week and her team did a challenge and I decided it would be fun to make a layout for an example. I love how this turned out.

  1. Heather, I did my layout files also this weekend but I did correct spelling mistakes ;-) I sometimes wonder too why I keep full psd files....they are so huge!
Oh, and I so love your layouts!
