Oh goodness, I'm having lots of fun. I have decided to take another online workshop. For years I have been inspired by Donna Downey and her Inspiration Wednesday online workshop videos. I really missed them last year when she took the year off from doing them. I can totally understand though... videos are a lot of work and time and I never understood how she had the time to do it every week. I'm so glad she's back!
This year, she's offering them again, and I just had to join in the fun! I'm having a blast watching her create and then seeing everyone post in the Inspiration Wednesday class FB group. So much talent in there and so much fun!
As I've shared before I really love the She Reads Truth daily devotionals and my favorite was when they did a week on some of my favorite hymns. Well, they are doing it again this week, a new batch of favorite hymns and I'm totally excited to be art worshiping them again in my art journal. I thought I'd combine what I learned in week 1 of Inspiration Wednesday with some hymnal art worship.
I will admit, I am not patient and this did not turn out the way it was supposed to. I was out of modeling paste so I used another medium and it took forever to dry and well, it's a hot mess. I still really like it and got to play with some mediums I hadn't tried before. That's the beauty of an inspiration journal... try new things and see if you like it and learn from the hot messes.
