Truth Scrap: Celebrating the Intersection of Faith and Art | Art Worship with Me

I can't tell you how hard it has been for me to not spill the beans! I'm so thrilled and honored and beyond excited about this one day event called Truth Scrap.

I so totally need a retreat after the new year to just refocus and fix my eyes on Jesus with hundreds of ladies. The bonus is we get to do it in our own homes and even in our pajamas if we want. This introvert is super happy about that part, lol.

You may not know my testimony and how I've come to be so passionate about art worship and encouraging other creatives to try art journaling as a form of worship.

This past January I could have chosen to be upset with my circumstances laid before me. Instead, I chose to ask God what he really wants from me. I decided to take a leap of faith and listen to those voices telling me to share my story and my art and how I came to art journal and art worship.


Once I took that leap, I started seeing that there's a huge need for something bigger. Through sharing my heart on social media and my blog, I've found "me" and more importantly, I found a renewed love for Jesus.

I just want everyone else to find that too. I want everyone else to know that worship isn't just about music on Sunday mornings or on the radio.


I may have messy handwriting and can't draw anything but a stick figure. Those that know me can vouch for how adamantly I say, "It's not about the art, it's about fixing your eyes on Jesus and responding to who he is and his AMAZING GRACE."
