I've had the most busy whirlwind of an amazing weekend and yesterday I just crashed. I thought today, I would do a little recap of my weekend for you, it was so full of meeting and hanging out with the most beautiful women. I was so blessed this weekend beyond my imagination.
FRIDAY
Have you ever met someone who you just click with? Shanna Noel is one of my favorite scrapbookers and we were officially introduced to each other less than a year ago. We instantly clicked and through a series of events in our own personal lives we ended up growing closer and closer.I am so very thankful for our friendship and just HAD to go to Indianapolis this weekend to meet her while she was at the Influence Conference. We got to look through each others' Journaling Bibles and admire the art worship.
We have such different styles yet it's still so beautiful to see the heart that goes into each page. These Bibles have become something so very special to each of us. We just want to carry them around everywhere with us.
SATURDAY
After driving home Friday night, I spent all day Saturday at an AMAZING scrapbook retreat! I can't tell you how much I needed this time to just craft and laugh and chat with women. Maggie and Sarah did a FAB job putting together this event and even though we only finished half of the projects planned, it was so perfect. I can't wait to finish up these projects and show them off in more detail!SUNDAY
Sunday is always my favorite day of the week. I love my 3rd grade small group of kiddos. I'm always looking forward to spending time with them and catching up on how their weeks were. Then while Moriah's in choir, Mark and I go to "big church" for worship. I love pulling out my Documented Life Project Planner and my Art Journal Bible. I love worshiping and singing with my church family.Afterwards, I got to spend time celebrating my Sister-in-LOVE and the little pumpkin growing in her. She has been such a huge blessing to me and I'm so very thankful for her. It was so beautiful to listen to how she has blessed so many other women too. I thank God for her! Moriah was invited too and she had a blast with her cousins.
NEXT YEAR
After hanging out in Indianapolis with Shanna, I knew I had to go to the Influence Conference next year. Shanna has been such a support to me and she has given me the task to figure out my goals for this blog and for myself and to really pray about where I want to go and pray about my fears and anxieties that are holding me back. I can't wait to see where God takes this blog and I can't wait to attend the conference next year!!!I also know that I want to attend the Daydream scrapbook event again next year. It was such a sweet time of fellowship and crafting. I can't wait for next year! I also can't wait to meet my new little nephew and celebrate his first birthday next year.
