Sweet Stamp Shop - June Release #2

I cannot tell you how much I'm loving making cards again. I'm so inspired lately by all the stash I've built up in the last year or so. Now, I just need to make a Birthday Planner so that I don't forget to send out cards for all the birthdays of my friends and family.

I have to tell you though... I've already seen what's coming the next two months and I'm soooooo excited. You have NO IDEA, how awesome the stuff is that's coming! It's like the cherry on top!

Since it's "NEW RELEASE DAY", I've got a coupon code for you that's good for 10% off the new releases, TODAY ONLY!!! So be sure to stop on by the shop and snatch them up! If you leave my name in the comments during checkout, I get a small commission from the sale!

I want to share with you what's new today! As much as I hate the need for a Condolences sentiment set, this one is seriously beautiful. I like that there are quite a few that I could totally use in my Project Life album too, that are more neutral and can be used for other sentimental reasons.

CONDOLENCES

I have a dear friend who really needed a hug recently. I thought this sentiment was just so perfect. There is just something about receiving a handmade card in the mail that makes the hug feel real. I love you, my dear friend, I am always thinking of you!

KOALA FAMILY

So, now that I'm making cards and such, I pulled out some of my loads of 6"x6" paper pads. I'm seriously in LOVE with the colors from this Dear Lizzy paper pad. My favorite was this cute paper with the cross-stitched hearts.

I also love this paper that had all these cute Polaroid frames on it. I cut one of the frames out and used washi tape to adhere it down.

I then stamped the "Hi" sentiment on plain white cardstock, and the little Koala on a floral paper in the paper pad that matched the card and frame. I stamped the branch on one of the green floral papers from the paper pad.

I added a little bit of pink ink after cutting out the sentiment. Then I put a piece of foam adhesive behind the koala's head and stuck him inside the frame. Using a gold glitter brush I painted in the stick and adhered the branch and the sentiment.

Isn't he adorable? I know I'll be using this set over and over again in my Project Life album with all the "brother", "sister", "adventure", etc. words. I really think that's what Nicole does best is create sets that aren't only useful for cardmaking but also for scrapbooking too.

Don't forget there is a coupon code for 10% off TODAY ONLY on the new releases!!! Not only are these two cute stamp sets new today, but there is a super super cute campout stamp set too! It has the most adorable vintage camping trailers in it some other fun stamps. I can't wait to get my hands on that one too!
