Project Life 2013 - Week 43

The colors of the leaves were so beautiful this week and I couldn't resist taking some photos while taking our family walk around the neighborhood... I just LOVE this season so much!!! We also had some fun things we did as a family like hubby taking the day off to go to the Children's Museum and Trunk-or-Treat and Moriah went rock climbing for her first time... and it definitely won't be her last, she LOVED it soooo much, she was talking about it for days afterwards and still talks about it once in awhile.

Rachel (Captivated Visions) is starting to do Project Life herself and so she released some yummy journaling cards and doodles today for iDSD (international digital scrapbook day) at The Lilypad and you know I'm crazy in LOVE LOVE LOVE with them and really excited to see some messy cards that I don't have to get messy myself, LOL... Also, the BYOC (Build Your Own Collab) for this month is sooo perfect for my fall photos and I had fun getting my Silhouette out and doing tons of print and cut and just layering it up like crazy... It was a lot of fun going back to my paper days when I was layering papers and ephemera and fun adding lots of labels and stuff... I did have to get a little messy and painted the wood veneer maple leaves for my 3rd page and had fun going through my wood veneer stash... it's been awhile since I've used them... I also had fun using some black enamel dot on my first page, they kinda look like paint spots and blend in so well with the yummy digital paint splatters I added to the cards before printing them...
