Phew!!! I'm exhausted and totally overwhelmed with all that I brought back from Scrapfest... I totally brought WAY TOO MUCH STUFF!!! LOL!!! Oh well, lessoned learned lol...
So the rest of Friday was fun, I had a great time walking around the mall several times and eating sushi with my babywearing girlfriend and chatting soooooo much... it was sooo great to see her... I then quickly went to Maggie Holmes' workshop... I was a little late so I got to sit right up front by Maggie... can I tell you she is BEAUTIFUL!!! I was a bit star struck, lol!!! It was a fast paced class and we whipped through using mist to paint on the backgrounds of our papers and then quick went through one of the layouts... they seriously need more time in these classes so we can finish up... I now have two unfinished projects to work on tonight at the crop... After Maggie's class I ran over to get in line for Becky Higgins' class... looking back, I should have cut all my photos ahead of time and literally spent the whole time trimming photos... but I did get her to sign one of the exclusive PL cards!!! WOOT WOOT!!! I also got a photo with her, soooo very excited!!! I then met up with my girlfriends and we headed to our crops... can I just say that Basic Grey was a huge disappointment, the rep was soooo totally rude and you could tell she totally didn't want to be there... I did however get all my photos in order and inserted into my PL mini album and then met up with my girlfriends at Napa Valley Grille... it was sooooooo yummy and I might have gotten a little tipsy after drinking three glasses of wine, LOL... it made for a more enjoyable time back at the crop LOL... I quick did the make and take where I became even more upset with the rep and was all too happy to leave after asking one of the Archivers girls if "this is it?" She confirmed it was so I left and went back to the room to find everyone there with their own little crop set up and all in their PJs... now THIS is what I want, LOL... another night of staying up late gabbing and sharing some of our goodies...
Saturday, I got up and went to the American Crafts make and take which was a cute little matchbook mini album and then got ready to head over to Tim Holtz's workshop... OMG!!! He's sooo AMAZING!!! It was fast paced but we got it all done and I LOVE all the new techniques I learned and the cute Christmas wall hanging and he gave us soooo many goodies... it totally made up for the crappy Basic Grey crop LOL... I then met up with the girls at Crave for lunch and got to meet Nisa and Peppermint... sooooo awesome to meet and gab with them for a little bit before heading off to Heidi Swapp's workshop... which was seriously awesome too... I totally loved some of the new techniques I learned from her too and she was just soooo fun too... I felt like I was hanging with a girlfriend... then we went to our Epiphany Crafts crop and OMW... the goodie bag was INSANE!!!! We did a make and take and then I WON another prize... I won the Square 25 tool along with some epoxies and charms... WOOT WOOT!!! Can I tell you about this thing, it seriously is my new favorite tool... We then went up to the business lounge at our hotel and closed out the evening getting some scrapping and PL done!!! What an awesome evening... we did go to bed a bit earlier knowing it was a long drive home the next day...
Sunday, we got up, said our goodbyes and headed over to the October Afternoon warehouse sale and came out with soooooooo much stuff... it was like an 80% off sale... soooo AWESOME!!!
so anyways... back to sharing PL layouts... LOL... here's Week 19:
