Scrappin' Saturday - 6/22/13

It's been a fun week of new releases and new layouts... I've actually been playing with traditional paper scrapping this week and can't wait to show you those layouts that I've created for my wedding album... Today hubby is out picking up some rescued hardwood flooring that we plan on installing on our mail floor of the house. I'm so excited that we are getting so close to finishing up this project we started last year. It's hard to believe the changes our house has gone through in the last year. Anyways, here are my layouts from this week...

This week I've been thinking about the fact that I'm pretty much over the hill and wondering... do I have any regrets? am I happy with how I've lived my life? It made me realize that if I were truly honest, I do have some regrets and I've let stupid things get to me that had no significance... and it's time to love this short life here on earth and have some fun and stop worrying so much... this word art was so perfect for doing a little art journaling about what I've been thinking about lately...

Early this week, Moriah came downstairs wearing bike shorts with her ballet leotard over the top... it soooo reminded me of those Jane Fonda workout videos... and Mari and Valeria released an 80's themed kit and I just couldn't resist scrapping about that outfit...

I love these pictures I got on Father's Day!!!

This week I've been thinking a lot about motherhood and the little miracles I have, and the word art in this kit just totally spoke to me to scrap about my dream of becoming a mama and even though the road was rough, we had a very happy ending.

I was inspired this week by a video at 2Peas to do a layout using song lyrics, and it just so happened that Lynne-Marie and Ya Yeah designed a music kit. Have I told you lately that I am seriously star struck and thankful for the friendship I've made with Lynne-Marie? She's an amazing vocalist and has gotten to record two albums with Paul Baloche, one of my fave worship leaders. It's so cool to hear some of my fave worship songs sung in French. It's like a little bit of what heaven is going to be like.

Last week I caught Isaac hanging from the kitchen island... I couldn't resist scrapping about it.

A couple week's ago, my friend Laura, commented about how the changes to our house in the last year have been INSANE... It made me realize that even though I still feel like I'm living in a fixer upper, we've really come a long way in fixing up this house and making it our home...

And that's all for this week in digi world... I'll be back on Monday with some more layouts from my wedding album and hopefully finish up sharing my 2012 Project Life album and start sharing my 2013 album. I've been really good at keeping up until this week when Costco's printer was down and it totally threw me off schedule. I'm determined not to give up though and keep going...
