Scrappin' Saturday

I wasn't planning on doing any layouts this week with the new releases since I'll be spending the evening at Archivers with some friends and hopefully doing tons of scrapping and catching up with them. Well... the designers blew me away again and I just couldn't resist playing!!! Of course, Darcy Baldwin has a new font pack this week, and I loved it so much I used it on all of the layouts.

The first one I grabbed were some awesome large photo templates from Cindy Schneider and Jenn Barrette's awesome peacock kit. I have a huge LOVE of peacocks so I was too excited to play with this one.

Then I decided to do a layout with some of the pics from homeschooling this week. We've been studying the letter "S" and also learning about the sun. Misty Cato had the perfect kit this week for those photos.



Next, I couldn't resist Penny Springmann's gorgeous papers. I think I used all but maybe 1 of the patterned papers, LOL.



Last, I spent Friday night doing a little scrap therapy and complaining about my lack of sleep. La Grier and Jenn Barrette did a collab about bedtime routines and so I grabbed Cindy Schneider's awesome new photoless templates and did some journaling.



Anyways, there were tons more I wanted to play with but just didn't have the time. I'm hoping tonight I'll get to play with tons of them. I can't wait for some much needed girlie and scrappy time!
