Project Life 2013 - Week 18 and Scrapfest update

SQUEEE!!!! We arrived and are settled in to this awesome weekend... As of right now, I'm hanging out with one of my The Babywearer forum friends... last time we saw each other was like 5 years ago, so I can't wait to catch up with her... this morning we woke up early on our own so we got dressed had some breakfast and then headed to the mall... I had a 9am class with Tattered Angels, but I really wanted to do the Becky Higgins Project Life make and take... We were a bit nervous when we saw some huge lines when we got down to the first floor where Becky's booth was supposed to be... but were confused why soooo many guys in line... then we saw the Apple store right there and it was the first day to get the new iPhone... AHHH!!!! PHEW!!! I was worried because I wanted to do the make and take and then run to my class and only be a few minutes late, but wouldn't be able to wait in line THAT long LOL... We found the booth and WOOT!!! We were the first in line!!! That meant we got to meet Becky and talk to Brandi for a bit... as soon as it was 9am, she pulled out the goodies and handed us each a Design A page protector and a stack of cards... I knew they were exclusive cards but didn't realize how exclusive they would be... they all pertained to Scrapfest and were super awesome and fun... I can't wait to get Becky to sign one of these cards!!!

Last night after we arrived and got settled in we had a quick dinner and then headed over to our Echo Park crop to save our seats so that we could all sit together once everyone arrived... We grabbed our cute stack of 6x6 paper pads and left some of our goodies in each place so nobody else would sit there... we then met up with everyone else and headed over to the October Afternoon warehouse sale... after standing in line for over an hour and not hardly moving forward we decided to head back to the crop... I also did a little shopping at Archivers and bought an awesome 3x4 die cut perfect for Project Life by Lawn Fawn... it was the last one and I'm soooo happy I got it!!! As soon as I got back they were drawing names for the crop prizes... and GUESS WHAT!!!! I WON THE GRAND PRIZE!!!! I won 8 full collections from Echo Park and Carta Bella!!!! Soooo super stoked!!! We went back to our rooms and found that they close the entrance to the mall and begged and pleaded with security to let us in... now we know to be back to the hotel before 11pm, LOL... we ended up chatting for several more hours before falling asleep... I can't believe we only got like 3 hours of sleep before waking up this morning... I have a feeling I'll be living on caffeine all weekend LOL

soooo anyways... here are my pages from Week 18... I decided to mix things up a little bit and not do the journaling on one 4x6 card and spread it out throughout the spread with each photo... I'm really liking this and have a feeling I'll be sticking to this the rest of the year!!! For the insert, I cut a Design A in half... I really should just go and buy some Design H page protectors LOL
